Many humanitarian workers deployed in disaster prone
areas and remote areas, where access to emergency care is very limited.
Injuries or medical problems may happen
to relief workers,
anywhere and anytime. A simple effort in first aid, humanitarian workers who do
can save lives and prevent disability, either partners, beneficiaries and the
aid workers themselves.
Therefore that humanitarian
workers need to have a First Aid skills and certified.
To meet these needs, the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) and MPBI organizing First Aid In Disaster & Mass Casualties Training Course For
Humanitarian Workers.
Cooperation of these two organizations complement each other to make the training quality. PMI has an international protocol on first aid and MPBI experienced in disaster management.
Another added value is, the trainee is limited to a maximum of 24 participants, each 6 participants will be guided by an instructor.
This training not only improves first-aid skills, but also disaster management and the Incident Command System including Triage.
This training will use the Indonesian language (Bahasa Indonesia) in the training sessions, and modules.

All courses are based on the international protocols of
the Red Cross,
Medical First Responder, and American Heart Association (AHA) for CPR, and contain a high
level of practical skills training.

Instructors of the training are first aid & rescue workers who have certified for
